Day 1Arrive Darwin (D)
On arrival at Darwin airport, be met and transferred* to your hotel. Enjoy time at leisure before meeting your Evergreen Tours’ Tour Director and travelling companions for a welcome drink and dinner.

Day 2Litchfield National Park (B)
Visit the tranquil wilderness area of Litchfield National Park with its picturesque waterfalls, plunge pools and unusual magnetic termite mounds. See beautiful Wangi and Florence Falls, large spring–fed natural pools surrounded by lush rainforest. This evening is at leisure to explore Darwin’s wide variety of restaurants.
Day 3Kakadu National Park - Yellow Waters Cruise (B,D)
Enter the amazing World Heritage listed Kakadu National Park. Visit the Bowali Visitor Centre and learn about the local region and its wildlife. Stop at Nourlangie Rock, where you will see ancient Aboriginal rock art. Join your guide for a cruise on the famous Yellow Waters billabong, where you may encounter Kakadu’s unique water birds and crocodiles.

Day 4Nitmiluk National Park - Katherine Gorge Cruise (B,D)
Travel to Nitmiluk National Park and enjoy a guided cruise through spectacular Katherine Gorge. Marvel at the towering red ochre sandstone walls as your local guide points out ancient Aboriginal rock art and unique wildlife.

Day 5Lake Argyle - Ord River Cruise - Kununurra (B,D)
Cross the border into Western Australia and journey into the Carr Boyd Ranges before arriving at magnificent Lake Argyle, the largest lake in the southern hemisphere. Enjoy an exciting cruise on the Ord River to Kununurra where you will pass beneath immense gorge walls and view peaceful river scenery. Watch out for the region’s abundant wildlife and enjoy the sunset as you arrive in Kununurra.

Day 6Wyndham - Bungle Bungles Day Tour Opportunity (B)
This morning we journey out to Wyndham, Western Australia's most northerly town and take a photo with 20 metre long, three metre high saltwater crocodile, see the views from Five Rivers Lookout, and visit Warriu Park to see the Dreamtime Statues and rock art murals. We then visit Parry Lagoons Nature Reserve the best bird watching site in Western Australia. On the way back to town we visit The Hoochery distillery, Western Australia's only legal distillery producing Ord River Rum and other spirits. You will be taken on a 30 minute tour of a working still and the production area with time to stay on for a piece of famous Ord River Rum Cake and a Coffee or Tea.

Day 7El Questro Wilderness Park - Chamberlain Gorge Cruise (B,D)
Travel to the acclaimed El Questro Wilderness Park, a million acre park set in stunning outback Kimberley landscape. Enjoy a spectacular cruise through Chamberlain Gorge, a fresh waterhole bound by diverse flora and fauna and set beneath towering 60m tall sheer walled cliffs.
Day 8Argyle Diamond Mine Guided Tour - Halls Creek (B,L,D)
There is an opportunity this morning to take a scenic flight over the Bungle Bungle Ranges (own expense). Travel to the world's largest single producer of diamonds, the Argyle Diamond Mine, for a private guided tour of the open cut mine. Continue on to Halls Creek, the oasis of the Kimberley and once the hub of a gold rush in the late 1800’s.

Day 9Geikie Gorge Cruise - Broome (B)
Continue to the Fitzroy River where you will cruise the exquisite Geikie Gorge with its unusual white banded walls. Keep your eye out for local wildlife including sawfish, stingrays and freshwater crocodiles. Travel to Broome, one of the last great unexplored wilderness areas on earth. Originally founded as a pearling port over a hundred years ago, Broome now boasts a multicultural population of many nationalities lured here by the promise of finding their fortunes. The pearling industry remains a vibrant part of Broome, proudly producing the world's finest pearls.

Day 10Broome at Leisure (B,D)
Today is at your leisure to explore the tropical town of Broome or as an option we suggest you experience on of the many amazing extra sightseeing activities.  At the end of the day join your fellow travellers and sit back, relax and enjoy a sunset drink whilst watching the spectacular sunset over Cable Beach, followed by a sumptuous dinner.
Day 11Broome - Port Hedland - BHP Tour (B,D)
Travel south and enter the resource-rich Pilbara region. At Port Hedland join a tour of the BHP Iron Ore port facility and learn about the history of the port and view the massive loading machinery.

Day 12Karijini National Park (B,D)
Travel through the heart of the Pilbara to Karijini National Park renowned for its spectacular gorges and waterfalls. Stop at Dale and Fortescue Falls and Joffre Gorge for awe-inspiring views.

Day 13Mt Tom Price Mine - Exmouth (B,D)
Put on your hard hat and tour fascinating Mt Tom Price Mine. Travel to Cape Range National Park and view the mouth of Exmouth Gulf overlooking Ningaloo Reef.

Day 14Ningaloo Reef - Carnarvon (B,D)
Depart Coral Bay to cruise the waters of Ningaloo Reef. Board the sub-sea viewer and marvel at the multitude of colours in the marine life on the reef. Continue to Carnarvon.

Day 15Shark Bay - Monkey Mia (B)
Travel to World Heritage listed Shark Bay, where we view the world’s oldest living organisms, the stromatolites, at Hamelin Pool. Visit Shell Beach, one of only two in the world, formed from billions of shells up to ten metres deep. Explore the Shark Bay World Heritage Discovery Centre, a informative display covering all of Shark Bay’s natural and cultural features.

Day 16Monkey Mia at leisure (B)
This morning discover Monkey Mia, where wild bottle nosed dolphins come close to shore (as dolphins are wild, their appearance can’t be guaranteed). Today is at leisure for you to explore thus magnificent world heritage listed area.
Day 17Kalbarri National Park - Geraldton (B,D)
This morning we head to Kalbarri National Park, famous for its extraordinary river gorge scenery. We stop at Hawks Head Lookout for a spectacular view of the Murchinson River Gorge. Visit the seaside town of Kalbarri before making our way to Geraldton. See the HMAS Sydney memorial, a beautiful silver dome commemorating the Sydney disaster.

Day 18The Pinnacles - Perth (B,D)
This morning we follow the coast through quaint fishing villages on your way to Nambung National Park, home of the fascinating Pinnacles. Made from limestone, these pillars provide an almost eerie landscape. Continue on to Perth. Enjoy a sightseeing tour of Perth including the Swan River and surrounding suburbs. Enjoy the great views of Perth from magnificent Kings Park.

Day 19Kings Park - Margaret River (B,D)
This morning enjoy a sightseeing tour of Perth, Kings Park, Swan River and the surrounding suburbs. In Kings Park and Botanic Garden, we join a Parks Guide for a 1 ½ hr walk of discovery of Wilderness and Wildflowers. Walk along the Nature Trail and into the natural Kings Park bushland where you will encounter milkmaids and postmen, pixies and fairies, donkeys and spiders. Depart Perth and travel deep into the Jarrah Forest of Dwellingup to explore the Forest Heritage Centre. Continue south along the spectacular coastline to Busselton, a popular holiday resort, and into Margaret River, one of Australia’s premier wine growing regions.

Day 20Margaret River - Cape Leeuwin - Caveworks (B)
This morning enjoy a scenic journey through the Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park and visit Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse, where your local guide will explain the history of the old lighthouse. Visit Caveworks and Mammoth Cave to learn about these spectacular limestone formations. Later we visit a local vineyard for a tour and wine tasting. Finish your day with a visit to the Margaret River Chocolate Factory and Providore for tastings of some local delicacies.
Day 21Valley of the Giants - Albany (B,D)
View the enormous and famous Gloucester Tree, the highest fire lookout tree in the world. Continue on to the Valley of the Giants and stroll 40 metres above the forest floor along the Canopy Walk. Marvel at the size of the giant Karri and Tingle trees. Arriving into Albany see beautiful Princess Royal Harbour and enjoy magnificent views of King George Sound.

Day 22Albany (B)
This morning tour Torndirrup National Park to capture the sight of spectacular rocky coastal formations, “The Gap” and “Natural Bridge.” Experience Albany’s seafaring history at Whaleworld, a fascinating whaling museum located in Australia’s last operational whaling station. This afternoon is at leisure for you to explore the colonial history of Albany or enjoy an optional cruise.
Day 23Stirling Ranges National Park - Esperance (B,D)
Today’s journey takes us into the rugged Stirling Ranges National Park, a botanic reserve abundant with wildflowers. There are more than a thousand flowering plant species here, some found nowhere else in the world. View Bluff Knoll, the highest peak in the national park, and from the lookout witness all the rugged and natural beauty of this amazing park. Continue to Esperance and be amazed by the magnificent coastline with the sparkling blue waters of Twilight Bay and gleaming sand.

Day 24Cape Le Grand National Park - Kalgoorlie (B,D)
This morning travel into Cape Le Grand National Park for amazing coastal views, fauna and flora. Travel north through Norseman, gateway to the Nullarbor Plain to the historic gold mining town of Kalgoorlie. Stop at the Golden Superpit Lookout for an incredible view of Australia’s largest open cut gold mine. An orientation tour of this historic gold mining town will reveal unique turn of the century buildings including the famous Exchange Hotel and Hay Street. Two Night Stay: Kalgoorlie
Day 25Miners Hall of Fame - Kalgoorlie at leisure (B)
Spend the morning exploring the Miners Hall of Fame. You will have the opportunity to pan for gold, put on your hard hat and go underground for a tour of the mineshaft and watch gold being poured. The rest of the afternoon is at leisure for you to explore this gold town at leisure.
Day 26Coolgardie - Wave Rock (B,D)
Travel through the former ghost town of Coolgardie and see its wide streets lined with grand stone buildings, mixed with corrugated iron and timber homes, reflecting both the wealth and impermanence of the gold rush. Journey to Hyden. Our first stop is at the Wave Rock Wild Flowers Wildlife Park & Information Centre, then onto the unusual rock formations of Wave Rock and the Hippo's Yawn. This striking rock formation, resembling a giant wave, was formed from granite over three million years ago.

Day 27York - Fremantle (B,D)
Travel to York, one of Western Australia’s most historic towns, where you will have some free time to explore the old heritage streets or visit the York Motor Museum. We then continue travelling on to the port of Fremantle, a city rich in heritage buildings and attractions.

Day 28Depart Fremantle (B)
