Day 1: Arrive Vancouver (D)

Welcome to Canada! You will be met at Vancouver International Airport and transferred to your hotel. This evening meet your Tour Director and fellow travellers for a welcome dinner at your hotel.

Day 2: Vancouver Sightseeing (B)

You're Invited: Start the morning with a unique breakfast at the Vancouver Aquarium where there is an opportunity to view Beluga whales. Later enjoy a sightseeing tour of Vancouver including Stanley Park, the waterfront, Gastown and Granville Island. Visit the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park where you can make your way across this spectacular suspension bridge, 70 metres above the Capilano River, and join the award winning Treetops Adventure along a series of elevated walkways.

Day 3: Rocky Mountaineer - Kamloops (B,L)

Set off on a two day rail experience on “The Most Spectacular Train Journey in the World”. Settle back in your GoldLeaf carriage as you enter the Fraser Valley then follow the Thompson River towards Kamloops.

Day 4: Rocky Mountaineer - Banff (B,L,D)

Continue your journey into the soaring, rugged snow-capped mountains. Marvel at the beauty of the glaciers, lakes and forest sitting at the foot of these grand mountains before arriving into Banff. The next two days you will stay at one of the Rockies most stunning and iconic properties which affords sweeping views over the Bow River and valley and surrounding mountain peaks.

Day 5: Banff at Leisure (B)

Today is for you to enjoy Banff and its many sights and attractions.

Day 6: Banff - Lake Louise (B,D)

Take the Banff Gondola to the top of Sulphur Mountain where you will witness inspiring views over the surrounding peaks and valleys, then enjoy a morning sightseeing tour including Bow River, the Hoodoos and Bow Falls. On the way to Lake Louise see the glacier fed Emerald Lake and the spectacular Natural Bridge, which has been carved by the Kicking Horse River. Prepare yourself for one of the highlights of your journey as you arrive at Canada’s “Diamond in the Wilderness”, the beautiful Lake Louise. This afternoon you have free time to explore this beautiful lake and take in the amazing scenery.

Day 7: Lake Louise (B)

Today is yours to enjoy the spectacular surroundings.

Day 8: Glacier ‘Ice Explorer’ - Jasper (B)

This morning we travel north along the Icefields Parkway, acclaimed as one of the most spectacular journeys in the world. Enjoy breath-taking mountain scenery as you pass rugged peaks and glaciers fringed by thick forest and shimmering lakes. We make a stop at the Columbia Icefield, North America’s largest sub-polar ice pack, where you’ll climb aboard the ‘Ice Explorer’ for a once-in-a-lifetime journey onto the mighty 300 metre thick Athabasca Glacier.  The day’s end finds us in Jasper National Park, an alpine wonderland of pristine wilderness and an abundance of wildlife.

Day 9: Jasper (B,D)

Today you have the opportunity to explore Jasper and it's surrounds. You're Invited: This evening we journey to the foothills of Pyramid Mountain and experience an authentic Canadian Rockies Western style dinner followed by a wildlife and wilderness presentation and a short forest walk to try to find an icon of Canada, the beaver.

Day 10: Jasper - Okanagan - Kelowna (B,L,D)

Depart Jasper and head past the awesome, 3,954 metre Mt. Robson. Continue through the Cariboo Mountains region and into the lush Okanagan Valley to Kelowna. This afternoon we will visit one of Kelowna’s award-winning wineries and sample some of the local wines.

Day 11: Kelowna - Whistler (B,D)

Travel through scenic landscapes as the road meanders along the side of the Nicola River and through sandstone chasms. Follow the Thompson and Fraser River past the sleepy town of Lillooet to the charming alpine resort of Whistler Village. You're Invited: Head to the Squamish Lilwat Cultural Centre for an authentic First Nations BBQ where you will learn more about the history and culture of the native Canadians.

Day 12: Whistler at Leisure (B)

Today is at leisure for you to explore the resort village of Whistler.

Day 13: Georgia Strait - Victoria (B)

Optional one hour floatplane flight over the Georgia Strait to the charming city of Victoria (seasonal, must be pre-booked, additional cost).

Travel along the Sea to Sky Highway following the rugged coastline stopping at the awesome Shannon Falls. Board the BC ferry and cruise through the Georgia Strait to Vancouver Island before arriving into Victoria, British Columbia’s capital city.

Day 14: Victoria Sightseeing -Butchart Gardens (B,D)

This morning visit the world-famous Butchart Gardens, a 22 hectare showplace of magnificent, colourful gardens. Learn about the history and flora while exploring the gardens. Afterwards enjoy an orientation tour of Victoria’s Inner Harbour, Bastion Square, Beacon Hill and residential areas.

Day 15: Seattle - 7 Night Alaskan Cruise (B,D)

Transfer on the Victoria Clipper to Seattle. Board your luxurious cruise ship and check into your comfortable Outside Stateroom (upgrade to Balcony Stateroom additional expense) on the luxurious Holland America Cruise Ship ms Eurodam and settle-in for an unforgettable 7 night voyage through the famed Alaskan waterways.

Day 16: Scenic Cruising (B,L,D)

Relax as you cruise one of the world's most spectacular waterways. Take advantage of the ship’s many outstanding facilities, or simply relax on deck and watch unmatched scenery glide by.

Day 17: Juneau (B,L,D)

Perched on a thin strip of land at the mouth of Gold Creek, Juneau is arguably one of America’s most beautiful state capitals, with the looming summits of Mt. Juneau and Mt. Roberts providing a gorgeous backdrop.

Day 18: Glacier Bay National Park (B,L,D)

Early this morning your cruise ship enters the iceberg-strewn waters of Glacier Bay National Park, where thirteen spectacular glaciers flow from surrounding mountains into the waters of the bay. A National Park Service Ranger will help you spot wildlife, while pointing out sights and explaining glacial activity.

Day 19: Sitka (B,L,D)

Sitka is easily one of the most beautiful seaside towns in Alaska, and has a unique blend of Russian history and Tlingit culture.

Day 20: Ketchikan (B,L,D)

Welcome to the salmon capital of the world! Part of the town is built along a steep hillside, part is built on pilings over the water, where bald eagles watch from waterside perches.

Day 21: Scenic Cruising (B,L,D)

Today is a day of relaxation as you cruise south to the stunning capital of British Columbia, Victoria.

Day 22: Depart Seattle (B)

Disembark early this morning and transfer to Seattle International Airport to board your homeward flight (book flight after 2pm).
