Q. Are visitors allowed on the ship?
A.

You may arrange for visitors to join you on-board. To organise a visit, please speak to our team who will arrange for the required paperwork to be completed.

Visitors will be required to pay for any food and drinks consumed on-board.

Q. Can Emerald Cruises arrange my passport and visas?
A.

Emerald Cruises are not responsible for passport, visa requirements, entry, health or other requirements of the countries visited, or for any loss sustained by you for failing to comply with laws, regulations, orders or requirements of the countries we visit.

Q. Can Emerald Cruises organise my travel insurance?
A.

No, this is the responsibility of the guest, however, your travel agent can do this on your behalf. We strongly advise you to take out travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances, which may arise as defined in the respective proposal forms. It is a good idea to take your travel insurance documents with you.

Q. Can I bring my own alcohol on-board?
A.

We have no problem with guests purchasing alcohol for consumption in their rooms. However, we do ask that personal drinks are not consumed in the communal areas of the ships.

Q. Can I take a virtual tour of the ship?
A.

Giving you a taste of what to expect before booking with Emerald Cruises, it is possible to take a virtual tour of all the ships – viewing the interiors and exteriors of the award-winning vessels.

To take the virtual tours - simply visit our Star-Ships page, click the relevant ship and then select ‘Take a 360° Virtual Tour’.

Q. What are the on-board dining times

  • Breakfast: 0700 - 0900
  • Lunch: 1200 – 1400
  • Dinner: 1900 - 2100

  • Full timings are provided in the daily programme. 
    Q. What clothes do I need to pack?
    A.

    We recommend casual and comfortable clothing - for sightseeing and walking tours you’ll need comfortable shoes. For the winter months, you’ll need a warm coat, gloves and water-resistant footwear. Dinner is an informal affair; relaxed evening wear is perfect. On certain evenings such as the Welcome and Farewell Dinners, you might like to dress up.

    Q. What is included when I book a cruise?
    A.

    We include transfers to and from your ship, on-board meals, a selection of drinks with lunch and dinner, on-board Wi-Fi, shore excursions, port charges, airport taxes and on-board tips.

    Q. Will I require health checks and vaccinations?
    A.

    Please contact your GP for information regarding any and all vaccinations required to visit any of the destinations on an Emerald Cruises itinerary.
