    Welcome to South Africa, and to the cosmopolitan city of Cape Town. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel for a welcome briefing from your Tour Director.

  • Day 2 Cape Town

    Today explore the beautiful Cape Peninsula. Enjoy the spectacular views from the summit of Cape Point which looks out over the Cape of Good Hope, then visit Boulders Beach, home to the protected land-based colony of African penguins.

  • Day 3 Cape Town

    Enjoy a city tour including a cable car ride to the top of Table Mountain (weather permitting), and a tour of the old colonial area finishing at the V&A Waterfront. The rest of the day is at leisure.

  • Day 4 Cape Town – Knysna

    We travel along the beautiful Garden Route to Knysna where your hotel is located on the waterfront overlooking Knysna lagoon.

    Today is at leisure for you to enjoy the trendy shops and lovely views that Knsyna has to offer.

  • Day 6 Knysna – Addo Elephant Park

    Continue along the Garden Route arriving at Addo. With uninterrupted views of the Karoo Plains and the Zuurberg Mountains, Kuzuko Lodge lies in a private concession to the north of Addo Elephant National Park, the third largest national park in South Africa.

  • Day 7 Addo National Park

    Included morning & evening game drives in open safari 4x4 vehicles. Look out for close up photo opportunities of the ‘Big Five’ Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo, Lion and Leopard. Return to the lodge where dinner is included.

  • Day 8 Port Elizabeth to Durban

    This morning take advantage of a further game drive (extra expense booked on tour) or relax in the lovely surrounds of the Kuzuko Lodge and enjoy a later breakfast before checking out of your lodge. Leaving Addo, we drive to Port Elizabeth airport for your flight to Durban (flight not included).

  • Day 9 Drakensburg – Cathedral Peak

    Travel north into the magnificent World Heritage listed Drakensburg Ranges. En route view old forts and burial sites as well as travel through stunning mountain scenery before arriving at your hotel, perched on the slopes of the 3004 metre Cathedral Peak.

  • Day 10 Drakensburg

    Today is at leisure for you to enjoy the magnificent surroundings of the Drakensburg Ranges. Simply relax in the perfectly manicured grounds or take a local excursion to see rock paintings or perhaps a bush trek to stunning viewpoints.

  • Day 11 Drakensburg – Swaziland

    We travel north through Natal, into the independent kingdom of Swaziland where your hotel is located in a picturesque valley.

  • Day 12 Swaziland – Kruger National Park

    After a leisurely morning we leave the tiny kingdom and return to South Africa. Continuing into the lowveld region we arrive at world famous Kruger National Park. We drive by coach through the park to our hotel where we enjoy an outdoor ‘boma’ highlight dinner.

  • Day 13 Kruger National Park

    We start early this morning for our included game drives in open safari vehicles. A light bush lunch is included later before our afternoon game drives commence. The late afternoon is the most active time for wild animals such as Hyena, wild dogs and other carnivores, with antelopes such as Impala spilling on to roads. Tonight enjoy another ‘boma’ African style dinner under the stars.

  • Day 14 Kruger National Park

    Relax this morning at the lodge with a late breakfast before departing for the picturesque town of Hazyview. You’re Invited: Visit Elephant Whispers, a project dedicated to securing the future of the African elephant. Experienced elephant handlers share their in-depth knowledge and you get a chance to get up close to these amazing animals.

  • Day 15 Panorama Route – Johannesburg

    Travel along the ‘Panorama Route’ and view the stunning Blyde River Canyon, the third largest canyon in the world, and one of Africa’s natural treasures. Visit the Bourke’s Luck Potholes and stop at World’s View. Leaving the mountainous north-east we travel to Johannesburg.

  • Day 16 Johannesburg – Victoria Falls – Elephant Valley

    Depart the hotel this morning for your transfer to the airport to meet your flight (flight not included) to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. On arrival is your tour of one of the seven Wonders of the World, and one of the most spectacular natural sites, Victoria Falls. Later travel just across the Botswana border to your lodge at Elephant Valley, located around a waterhole frequently visited by wildlife. You’re Invited: Visit Chinotimba township to experience life in a truly African community. Tonight enjoy and included outdoor ‘boma’ highlight dinner.

  • Day 17 Chobe National Park

    This morning is your included cruise on the Chobe River, where hippo, elephant and buffalo inhabit the shallow waterways. Later enjoy lunch at the lodge an included game drive along the banks of the Chobe River.

  • Day 18 Chobe Princess

    This morning join your river cruise ship, the Chobe Princess. Enjoy an afternoon sailing with sightings of hippo, elephant and buffalo a regular occurrence. Tonight enjoy dinner on board.

  • Day 19 Chobe Princess

    After breakfast on board enjoy bird watching, fishing, or other activities, or just relax on the upper deck watching the wildlife. This boutique ship is small enough to navigate the smaller inlets and Chobe River which is a lot shallower than the Zambezi where the larger ships remain. Tonight watch the sunset over the Zambezi over a three course meal with wine and beer included.

  • Day 20 Disembarkation – Johannesburg

    Disembark your river cruise and transfer to Victoria Falls airport for your flight (flight not included book after midday) to Johannesburg. Transfer to you onward flight home or book extra nights in Johannesburg if required (book flight after 6pm).
