Overview

We invite you to join us on a journey through Africa’s magnificent landscapes, where white sandy beaches are flanked by rocky mountain ranges and wild animals inhabit extensive national parks. Diverse cultures co-exist in exciting modern cities where the people have battled extraordinary difficulties to create a welcoming environment for you to enjoy.

In South Africa, discover a land of contrasts from the beauty of Table Mountain and Cape Point in Cape Town, to the beautiful vistas of the Garden Route. In Addo Elephant Park encounter Africa’s ‘Big Five’, lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino, whilst enjoying the comforts of the Kuzuko Lodge.

Visit Cathedral Peak in the Drakensburg Mountains, the country’s highest mountain range where peaks soar above 3,000 metres, and tour Zulu battlefields filled with the history of colonial conflict. Kruger National Park is Africa’s most well-known wildlife reserve, a must for all visitors, where game drives can be enjoyed in open top safari vehicles and outdoor ‘boma’ dinners are welcomed by starlit skies. Victoria Falls is one of the great natural wonders of the world, where the great waters of the Zambezi River flow through Zambia. In East Africa, Amboseli and Masai Mara National Reserves are teeming with wildlife in more open savannah, where predators stalk huge herds of antelope, and elephant trails snake the landscape. Lake Naivasha and Lake Nakuru showcase an abundant bird life including huge colonies of flamingos.

Introduced in 2015, 'The Chobe Princess' is an exceptional 3 day/2nights Chobe River cruise linked seamlessly with our South Africa and Victoria Falls tour. This fantastic vessel’s design allows you to get even closer to Africa’s big 5 along the Chobe National Park, while in the comfort of this boutique river cruise. Stay in one of only six suites, you’ll get fresh breakfast, lunch and dinners on board as well as beer, wine and soft drinks included.

Highlights, Experience & Attractions

From start to finish Evergreen Tours have carefully plan, arrange and coordinate every aspect of your holiday. Our itineraries are cleverly designed with the appropriate balance of inclusions, must-see sights and free time, all carefully planned to showcase Africa’s culture, wilderness and incredible game reserves. Many different kinds of people travel with us and, like you, they recognise that value is not only about price but also what’s included in the tour.

Our inclusions bring to life the Africa you’ve always dreamed of. We know you’ll never forget the moment you first laid eyes on Table Mountain, the excitement of your first game drive in Kruger National Park, or the remarkable sight of a hundred elephants on their daily migration in Amboseli National Reserve, Kenya. Marvel at the stunning views in the Drakensburg Ranges and walk the misted trails for panoramic views of Victoria Falls.

We include most meals and offer full hot and cold buffet breakfasts, lunches in game reserves, dinners in hotels or local restaurants, and highlight ‘Boma’ dinners in National Parks. Evergreen has introduced an exclusive local experience called ‘You’re Invited’ where our guests will be welcomed into a traditional local village in Botswana near Victoria Falls, in Kenya you will learn all about the daily tribal traditions at a Maasai village in Amboseli National Park, and in South Africa visit an elephant project.

Discover More

Evergreen Tours know the value of free time to explore on your own, however we also know that most of our clients like to be offered extra sightseeing to personalise their holiday. Enhance your experience with a chance to explore the multicultural side of Cape Town, meet the Madagascan Lemurs and other primate species in the Monkeyland Sanctuary and enjoy an additional early morning game drive to a different section of famous Kruger National Park.
