20 Day Itinerary

  1. Day 1 - Lima, Peru

    Bienvenido! Welcome to Lima, the capital of Peru. This bustling city, known as the “City of the Kings”, is rich in history and culture. You will be met and transferred to your hotel. This evening, meet your Tour Director for a tour briefing.
    Two Night Stay: Lima

  2. Day 2 - Lima

    Afternoon city tour of Lima visiting one of Lima’s ancient pyramids, the main plaza and Santo Domingo Church. You’re Invited: Take a guided tour of the Larco Museum. Afterwards, enjoy a traditional dinner at the museum.

  3. Day 3 - Lima – Sacred Valley

    Fly to Cuzco, the ancient Inca capital. Drive to the Sacred Valley, stopping off at Awana Kancha llama farm, then visit the market town of Pisac.

  4. Day 4 - Sacred Valley

    Walking tour of Ollantaytambo. You’re Invited: Then, visit a local community and meet the students and teachers at the school.

  5. Day 5 - Sacred Valley - Machu Picchu

    Board the Vistadome train to Machu Picchu. Mystery still surrounds these well preserved ruins and your expert local guide will share stories and knowledge to reveal some of the mysteries of this “Lost City of the Incas”.

  6. Day 6 - Machu Picchu - Cuzco

    Ride Vistadome train back to Ollantaytambo, then coach to Cuzco.

  7. Day 7 - Cuzco

    Tour Cuzco, the former capital of the Incas. Visit the Inca temple of Coricancha, head through cobblestone streets and past ancient Inca buildings to Cuzco’s fascinating central market. Explore Inca ruins including the fortress of Sacsayhuaman and finish with a visit to the main plaza and its surrounding cathedrals.

  8. Day 8 - Cuzco

    Today is free to explore fascinating Cuzco.

  9. Day 9 - Cuzco - Lake Titicaca

    Fly to Lake Titicaca, the birthplace of the Inca Empire. Enjoy an excursion to the floating islands of Uros which are made of the hollow totora reeds allowing them to float. Entire communities are built on these fascinating islands.

  11. Day 11 - Lima – Buenos Aires, Argentina

    Fly to Buenos Aires, Argentina, a country rich in history and culture. With a strong European influence, Buenos Aires is wonderful city to discover.

  12. Day 12 - Buenos Aires

    Tour this beautiful city visiting the central square, Plaza de Mayo. Drop in to a traditional café before travelling through San Telmo and down the colourful roads of La Boca. Finish at Recoleta Cemetery, an amazing above ground cemetery. You’re Invited: This evening, soak up a tango show accompanied by a sumptuous dinner.

  13. Day 13 - Buenos Aires

    Free day to explore Buenos Aires.

  14. Day 14 - Buenos Aires – Ranch visit

    You’re Invited: Drive to an Argentinian ranch or “estancia”. Here you will learn about their famous cowboys or “gauchos”. Explore the ranch,  then feast on a traditional “parilla” or BBQ lunch.

  15. Day 15 - Buenos Aires – Iguazú Falls

    Fly to Iguazú Falls. Set in a tropical jungle, the falls spill over towering cliffs to create a thunderous roar.

  16. Day 16 - Iguazú Falls

    Tour the Argentinian side of the falls. Board the ecological train and ride to the ‘Devil’s Throat’ viewpoint, one of the most spectacular views that Iguazú has to offer.

  17. Day 17 - Iguazú Falls – Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

    Cross the border into Brazil and make your way up close to the majestic Brazilian falls for outstanding views. Fly to Rio de Janeiro and famous Copacabana Beach. Rio is a city full of life, colour and vibrancy.

  18. Day 18 - Rio de Janeiro

    Tour Rio de Janeiro. Ride the cogwheel railway up Corcovado Mountain to the famous ‘Christ the Redeemer’ statue, then take the cable car to the top of Sugarloaf Mountain for amazing views of the city. You’re Invited: Visit the Sambadrome, the site of Rio Carnival where we try on some carnival costumes #

  19. Day 19 - Rio de Janeiro

    Day free to explore Rio. This evening, feast like a local with a typical Brazilian Churrascaria.
