  1. Day 1 - Arrive New York

    Welcome to the USA! On arrival at New York International Airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Wonder at the concrete metropolis as you soak up the New York atmosphere.

  2. Day 2 - New York City Sightseeing

    Discover New York City at your own pace with an included Hop-On Hop-Off Double Decker Bus Tour. Your ticket will allow you to explore over 50 stops throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn, from The United Nations to Times Square, from Harlem to Battery Park, including the ferry to the Statue of Liberty. You’re Invited: Enjoy a welcome dinner followed by an entertaining Broadway show. Known as the pinnacle of theatrical performance this truly is a special event.

  3. Day 3 - New York – Lancaster – Gettysburg

    Make our way through Lancaster County, home to the religious Amish and Mennonite communities who are known for their simple and traditional lives. You’re Invited: We are joined by a local guide for a tour around the Amish countryside. Continue to the historically significant town of Gettysburg where the Battle of Gettysburg was fought.

  4. Day 4 - Gettysburg – Washington D.C.

    This morning we head to the Gettysburg National Military Park and Museum for a guided tour of the battlefields. Gettysburg was the war’s bloodiest battle with 51,000 casualties and it was also the inspiration for President Abraham Lincoln’s immortal “Gettysburg Address”. We then travel to the nations great capital, Washington D.C.

  5. Day 5 - Washington D.C.

    Our local guide joins us for a city tour as we view such highlights as the U.S. Capitol Building, the F.B.I. Building, Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, the White House and Arlington National Cemetery including the site of the John F. Kennedy Memorial.

  6. Day 6 - Washington D.C. – Williamsburg

    Continue through the state of Virginia to some of the most historic towns that still survive today. Discover Colonial Williamsburg and immerse ourselves in the 18th century capital city of Virginia. Colonial Williamsburg has been carefully constructed to recreate one of the most important times in U.S. history. Explore the revolutionary city and become a part of the recreation that brings history alive.

  7. Day 7 - Williamsburg – Charleston

    Make our way from Virginia, through North Carolina to South Carolina. Pass into the delightful southern parts of America to the city that inspired the famous dance, Charleston. Charleston is the oldest city in South Eastern USA, is known for its history and well-preserved architecture, and exudes a rich historical charm.

  8. Day 8 - Charleston Sightseeing

    This morning we will be joined by our local guide for a tour through Charleston’s 300 year old historic district. Hear stories of the history and traditions of this gorgeous town as we make our way past mansions, gardens and churches. Wander along The Battery, a seaside promenade lined with stately homes where you can view Fort Sumter. The afternoon is yours to discover this delightful town.

  9. Day 9 - Charleston – Savannah

    Head to picturesque Beaufort, a quaint southern town full of character and notable architecture. Continue to the attractive and historic town of Savannah containing one of the largest historic districts in the United States. We’re joined by a local guide as we uncover cobble stoned streets, oak lined alleys, exquisite southern mansions, beautiful squares and a picturesque riverfront. Tonight dine in a local restaurant that is a restored 18th Century cotton warehouse.

  10. Day 10 - Savannah

    Spend the day exploring the historic character of Savannah.

  11. Day 11 - Savannah – Atlanta

    Continue our journey to Atlanta. A city with a rich and passionate history, Atlanta was the birthplace of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Following in his father’s and grandfather’s footsteps, Dr. King became a minister and preached about peace through non-violence which helped shape the Civil Rights Movement. Learn more of the poignant history of America’s civil rights with a visit to the National Centre for Civil and Human Rights. We will then see the home where Dr. King lived for the first 12 years of his life, and the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic site and monument.

  12. Day 12 - Atlanta – Nashville

    Journey to Nashville or “Music City” the home of country music. Since its inception, Nashville has been linked to music, from Davy Crockett to Miles Davis, from Bob Dylan to Beyoncé, the best of the best come here to learn and share their art. Get a taste of this incredible city with a walk along the famous Honky Tonk Row. You’re Invited: Take a guided tour of the Ryman Auditorium, followed by dinner and a show at the legendary musical institution, the Grand Ole Opry.

  13. Day 13 - Nashville

    You’re Invited: Tour the recording studios of Music Row, including Studio B where some of the greats of country music have recorded. Afterwards, feel like one of the greats and get in front of the microphone to record your own song. We then visit the Country Music Hall of Fame that houses one of the best collections of country music memorabilia, instruments and costumes in existence. The rest of the day is free to explore Nashville, the “Music City”.

  14. Day 14 - Nashville – Memphis

    Travel to Memphis, the blues capital of the world. Visit Graceland, the home of “The King”, Elvis Presley. Explore his mansion and see his private costumes, gold records and awards. You’re Invited: Head to B.B. King Blues Club and get a taste of some true southern rock and blues. Enjoy B.B. King’s favourite southern dishes as you listen to the best of Memphis music.

  15. Day 15 - Memphis

    Tour the famous Sun Studio, known as the birthplace of rock ‘n roll. Explore the memorabilia and hear fascinating stories of fame and fortune, excess and success. The rest of the day is free for you to discover Memphis.

  16. Day 16 - Memphis – Natchez

    Follow the great Mississippi River south through the heart of a nation. You’re Invited: Visit Frogmore Cotton Plantation and Gins where you will learn both the modern and historical stories of a working cotton plantation. We’ll then listen to some traditional gospel music that tells the trials and triumphs of life on a plantation. In the evening arrive into the town of Natchez with a wonderful collection of antebellum architecture. You’re Invited: Tonight you will be hosted for dinner by the 5th and 6th generation homeowners at Glenfield Plantation.

  17. Day 17 - Natchez – New Orleans

    Continue to Oak Alley Plantation, an opulent and beautifully preserved antebellum mansion. Wander through the magnificent landscaped gardens lined with old oak trees and take a tour of the elegant mansion. The afternoon finds us in the vibrant city of New Orleans.

  18. Day 18 - New Orleans

    The last stop on our tour takes us through another musical genre, Jazz. Steeped in a history of influences from Europe, the Caribbean, Africa and beyond, New Orleans is home to a truly unique melting pot of culture, food and music. Our local guide joins us for a tour of the French Quarter, the oldest neighbourhood and cultural hub of the city. Visit an historic cemetery, referred to as the “City of the Dead,” and learn about this unique above ground burial system. Then visit St. Charles Avenue and the Garden District which is home to some of the best preserved Southern mansions in the country. You’re Invited: Set sail on the Mississippi River aboard a traditional steamboat. Savour the beauty and romance as you dine on a traditional southern meal while relaxing to some smooth Jazz tunes.

  19. Day 19 - Depart New Orleans

    After breakfast you will be transferred to New Orleans Airport for your onward flight.
