  1. Day 1 - Arrive Victoria

    Welcome to Canada! You will be met at Victoria International Airport and transferred to your hotel. This evening, meet your Tour Director and fellow travellers for a welcome dinner.

  2. Day 2 - Victoria – Butchart Gardens

    This morning, visit the world-famous Butchart Gardens. Learn about the history and flora while exploring the colourful gardens. Afterwards, enjoy an orientation tour of Victoria.

  3. Day 3 - Georgia Strait – Whistler

    Optional Flight - Opportunity to take a one hour floatplane flight over the Georgia Strait to Whistler (seasonal, must be pre-booked, additional cost).

    Drive along Vancouver Island to Nanaimo. Board the BC Ferry and travel through the Georgia Strait to Horseshoe Bay. Journey along the Sea to Sky Highway to the charming alpine resort of Whistler.

  4. Day 4 - Whistler – Sun Peaks

    Travel the scenic Duffy Lake Road into the town of Lillooet. Head to the picturesque ski resort of Sun Peaks. You’re Invited: Enjoy a fur trader’s feast and presentation accompanied by a tranquil canoe journey.

  5. Day 5 - Sun Peaks – Banff

    Enjoy glimpses of the soaring mountains as you make your way through the three spectacular National Parks of Mount Revelstoke, Glacier and Yoho, towards the Canadian Rockies. Arrive into Banff National Park, where you’ll catch the gondola to the top of Sulphur Mountain. Enjoy the sweeping views while dining on a hearty meal.

  7. Day 7 - Banff – Emerald Lake

    Morning sightseeing tour including Bow River, the Hoodoos and Bow Falls. On the way to Emerald Lake, see the ‘Diamond in the Wilderness’, Lake Louise and the spectacular Natural Bridge. Emerald Lake is so called due to the vibrant turquoise colour of its waters which is surrounded by majestic peaks.

  9. Day 9 - Glacier ‘Ice Explorer’ – Jasper

    Travel along the Icefields Parkway, acclaimed as one of the most spectacular journeys in the world. Stop at the Columbia Icefield, where you’ll climb aboard the ‘Ice Explorer’ for a journey onto the Athabasca Glacier. The day’s end finds us in Jasper National Park, an alpine wonderland of pristine wilderness and abundant wildlife where you will be taken to the beautifully carved Maligne Canyon.

  10. Day 10 - Rocky Mountaineer – Kamloops

    Set off on “The Most Spectacular Train Journey in the World”. Settle back in your SilverLeaf carriage (upgrade to GoldLeaf at additional expense) and enjoy incredible views of the soaring mountains including Canada’s highest peak, the 3954 metre Mount Robson.

  11. Day 11 - Rocky Mountaineer – Vancouver

    Continue our journey on the Rocky Mountaineer following the Thompson River and passing into the Fraser Valley. Late afternoon arrival into Vancouver.

  12. Day 12 - Vancouver Sightseeing

    Set-off on a sightseeing tour of Vancouver including the waterfront and Gastown. Make an enthralling visit to the 4D virtual reality experience of FlyOver Canada, then head to Stanley Park to see the intricately carved totem poles. This evening, visit Capilano Suspension Bridge Park and make your way across the bridge suspended 70 metres above the river, then walk amongst the canopy on the Treetops Adventure. Finish with an inspiring dinner at Capilano.

  13. Day 13 - Vancouver – 7 Night Alaskan Cruise

    Surrounded by the Gastineau Channel, the Mendenhall Glacier and Juneau Icefields, Alaska’s capital is famed for its scenery and isolation.

  17. Day 17 - Skagway

    Established in 1897 as a trading post for prospectors headed to the Klondike Gold Rush, Skagway’s colourful past is carefully preserved in the Klondike Gold Rush National Historic Park.

  18. Day 18 - Glacier Bay

    Enter the iceberg-strewn waters of Glacier Bay National Park, where spectacular glaciers flow into the bay. A National Park Ranger will help you spot wildlife, while explaining glacial activity.

  19. Day 19 - Scenic Cruising

    Take advantage of the ship’s many outstanding facilities, or simply watch the scenery glide by.

  20. Day 20 - Seward – Anchorage

    Disembark in Seward and enjoy a scenic rail journey aboard the cruisetrain. Glaciers, canyons, waterfalls and spectacular scenery await at every turn. On arrival in Anchorage, be taken on a tour.

  21. Day 21 - Portage Glacier Cruise

    Head to Portage and take a cruise to Portage Glacier for fantastic views of the blue-white icebergs that decorate the lake. Travel to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Centre which is a refuge for orphaned and injured wildlife.

  22. Day 22 - Anchorage – Denali State Park

    Get our first taste of the vast natural beauty of Alaska as we travel north from Anchorage to Denali State Park. Visit the quaint and quirky town of Talkeetna, and if you’re lucky, catch a glimpse of impressive Mt. Denali.

  23. Day 23 - McKinley Explorer Train – Denali

    Relax and soak up the surroundings on board the full-dome McKinley Explorer to Denali National Park. This evening is a Music of Denali Dinner Show.

  25. Day 25 - Denali – Fairbanks

    You’re Invited: In the morning, visit Husky Homestead, home of four-time Iditarod Champion Jeff King. Enjoy a warm welcome and take an authentic look into rural Alaskan lifestyle while getting to know a champion Iditarod team. Continue your journey into the heart of the last frontier, Fairbanks. Known as the “Golden Heart City”, Fairbanks has a prominent Gold Rush history.

    Learn of Alaska’s gold mining history. View the Trans Alaska Pipeline, then board a replica of the Tanana Valley Railroad to Gold Dredge 8. In the afternoon, board an authentic sternwheeler for a unique cruise along one of Alaska’s great rivers.

  27. Day 27 - Fairbanks – Dawson City, Yukon

    Fly to Dawson City. Dawson was the heart of the Klondike Gold Rush and is now a National Historic Site.

  28. Day 28 - Dawson City – Yukon River Cruise

    Tour historic Dawson City and see some of the original gold rush era buildings. Head to Gold Dredge No. 4 and Discovery Claim where the first gold was discovered. In the afternoon, cruise on the only operating paddle wheeler in the Yukon.

  29. Day 29 - Dawson City – Whitehorse

    Board your flight to Whitehorse. This journey loosely follows the original route to the goldfields first used in 1902. On arrival, see the S.S. Klondike National historic site.

  30. Day 30 - Taste of the Yukon Dog Sled

    Explore the MacBride Museum. You’re Invited: See what it takes to be a competitive musher at the home of Yukon Quest legend Frank Turner. Learn how integral dog sledding is to the Yukon history, then be served a home-cooked lunch to round off this authentic Yukon experience. Tonight, enjoy a farewell dinner.

    Today, you will see one of the most spectacular natural sights of North America as you visit the incredible Niagara Falls. Travel through the countryside before arriving at Niagara for a thrilling cruise to the foot of Horseshoe Falls. Get up close to one of the most amazing waterfalls in the world as you feel the mist washing over you. After some free time or an optional helicopter ride over the falls, visit the historic and beautifully preserved village of Niagara-on-the-Lake before returning to Toronto early this evening. Tonight, enjoy a welcome dinner.

  35. Day 35 - Toronto – Kingston – Ottawa

    This morning, take a journey to the top of CN Tower, the tallest free-standing tower in the Americas for some spectacular views over Toronto. Travel up University Avenue to take in the sights of Ontario’s Parliament Buildings, Queens Park and museum row. Travel east following Lake Ontario to the colonial city of Kingston, the gateway to the beautiful Thousand Islands region of the St. Lawrence River. Board your vessel for a cruise of one of the most picturesque areas in Eastern Canada. Travel through the islands and canals and view spectacular old buildings, attractive neighbourhoods and abundant birdlife. Continue following the rivers and lakes to Canada’s capital.

  36. Day 36 - Ottawa Sightseeing

    This morning, our local guide joins us for a tour of Ottawa, famous for its stately boulevards, imposing buildings and tulip filled gardens during spring. See the green-peaked roofs of the Parliament Buildings, City Hall and the National Gallery. We view the residences of the Prime Minister and the Governor General, the Royal Canadian Mint and the Rideau Canal. Take a break at Byward Market where you have free time to explore before continuing your city tour with a visit to the Canadian Museum of History, Canada’s largest and most popular cultural institution. You’re Invited: Visit a First Nations camp at the Canadian Museum of History where you will partake in an informative tour of the Native village, then witness a vibrant performance of traditional styles of Pow Wow dancing. Tonight, dine at the National Arts Centre. Dedicated to the performing arts, this is a culinary experience that indulges the senses.

  37. Day 37 - Ottawa – Quebec City

    Bienvenue! Welcome to the French-Canadian province of Quebec. Make your way to a traditional Quebecois Sugar Shack. You’re Invited: Enjoy French Canadian country charm and hospitality and learn how to make maple candy, then partake in a delicious lunch that showcases the local country cuisine. Visit Deschambault a quaint village along the St. Lawrence River before a scenic drive along the “Chemin du Roy” (King’s Road), the oldest roadway in Canada. This historic “New France Route,” takes you to Quebec City, the UNESCO World Heritage Site spectacularly perched atop Cap Diamant. French is the primary language in this unique city, founded in 1608 as a trading post. Arrive into Quebec City in the afternoon and meet our local guide for a tour of The Plains of Abraham, the Citadel and Parliament buildings. You will then embark on a walking tour within the walls of the Vieux Carré (Old City) and visit Lower Town. This is truly a remarkable city, every building in Old Quebec tells a story and every square exudes the spirit of New France with a history dating back many hundreds of years.
