15 Day Itinerary

  1. Day 1 - Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

    Bem-vindo! Welcome to Rio de Janeiro, a city full of life, colour and vibrancy mixed with tropical coastal scenery. Transfer to your hotel perfectly located on famous Copacabana Beach.
    Three Night Stay: Rio de Janeiro

  2. Day 2 - Rio de Janeiro

    Today, we tour the sights of Rio de Janeiro. Ride the cogwheel railway up Corcovado Mountain and see the “Christ the Redeemer” statue. Take the cable car to the top of Sugarloaf Mountain for amazing views. You’re Invited: Get to know how the locals party with a visit to the Sambadrome, the site of the famous Rio Carnival (Sambadrome may be closed due to Rio Carnival period). This evening, feast like a local with a typical churrascaria.

  3. Day 3 - Rio de Janeiro

  4. Day 4 - Rio de Janeiro – Iguazú Falls

    Fly to the World Heritage listed Iguazú Falls. Set in a tropical jungle, an enormous river spills over towering cliffs to create a thunderous roar. This afternoon is free for you to relax, or start exploring Iguazú.

  5. Day 5 - Iguazú Falls

    After a relaxing morning, tour the majestic Brazilian falls. We board the glass lift from the top viewing deck to the boardwalk, Feel the spray of the water and gaze in awe at one of the most spectacular views Iguazú has to offer.

  6. Day 6 - Iguazú Falls – Buenos Aires, Argentina

    Tour the Argentinian side of the falls which follows a number of walkways over the top of the falls for incredible up close views and ride the train to the “Devil’s Throat” viewpoint. This evening fly to Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina. Known as a sophisticated city with a strong European influence.

  7. Day 7 - Buenos Aires

    Get acquainted with this beautiful city known as the “Paris of the Americas”. Visit the central square, Plaza de Mayo surrounded by the Casa Rosada (Presidential Headquarters) and the Cabildo (Colonial Town Hall). Travel through the streets of San Telmo, the home of Tango and down the colourful roads of La Boca. You’re Invited: This evening, soak up the sultry moves of a tango show accompanied by a sumptuous dinner.

  8. Day 8 - Buenos Aires

    Today is free to explore Buenos Aires.

  9. Day 9 - Buenos Aires – Lima, Peru

    Fly to Lima, known as the “City of the Kings”, is rich in tradition and culture.
    Overnight Stay: Lima

  10. Day 10 - Lima – Sacred Valley

    Fly to Cuzco, the ancient capital of the Inca Empire set high in the Andes Mountains. As you transfer to the Sacred Valley, stop off at Awanacancha and llama farm and textile centre. Gain an insight into the Andean camelids; llama, alpaca, vicuña and guanaco as well as viewing traditional Andean weaving techniques. This afternoon, we head into the colourful town of Pisac. Here the traditional handicraft markets provide a great opportunity to snap up a bargain.

  11. Day 11 - Sacred Valley

    Enjoy a walking tour of the town of Ollantaytambo. Visit a traditional home to see how the locals live, then see the incredible Incan fortress that overlooks the town. You’re Invited: Visit a community for the chance to meet the students and teachers at the local school and learn about their lifestyle.

  12. Day 12 - Sacred Valley – Machu Picchu

    Transfer to the train station and board the Vistadome train for the journey to Machu Picchu. The highlight of the day is your visit to the ancient Inca site. Mystery still surrounds these well preserved ruins perched in between sheer cli?s and your visit will allow you to understand why they are one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Your expert local guide will walk you through the ruins while sharing stories and knowledge to reveal some of the mysteries of this “Lost City of the Incas”.

  13. Day 13 - Machu Picchu – Cuzco

    Spend the morning exploring Aguas Calientes before boarding the Vistadome train back to Ollantaytambo. Return to Cuzco across the patchwork fields of the Chinchero plateau.

  14. Day 14 - Cuzco

    Be guided on a walking tour of the city of Cuzco, a World Heritage listed site that was a former capital of the Incas. Visit the Inca temple of Coricancha, head through streets and past Inca buildings to Cuzco’s central market. Explore Inca ruins on the outskirts of the city including the fortress of Sacsayhuaman, and finish with a visit to the beautiful main plaza and its surrounding cathedrals. This evening, join your Tour Director and fellow travellers for a farewell dinner.

  15. Day 15 - Cuzco

    Transfer to the airport for your onward flight. We look forward to welcoming you again. Chau!
