Welcome to the iconic Top End! You will be met on arrival at Darwin airport and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the unique character of the Northern Territories tropical capital city, before meeting your Evergreen Tours’ Tour Director and travelling companions for a welcome reception and dinner.

Enter the amazing World Heritage listed Kakadu National Park which is renowned for its natural beauty. Visit Nourlangie Rock which exhibits some of the oldest Aboriginal rock art in the world, dating back 50,000 years. Stop at the Bowali Visitor Centre, learn about the local region’s rich culture and wildlife, before a cruise on the Yellow Water Billabong.

Travel to Nitmiluk National Park and enjoy a guided cruise through the spectacular Katherine Gorge. Marvel at the towering sandstone walls as your guide points out ancient Aboriginal rock art and unique wildlife.

Experience the true vastness of this outback land as you cross the border into Western Australia and journey into the Carr Boyd Ranges before arriving at magnificent Lake Argyle, the largest lake in the Southern Hemisphere. One of the highlights of the journey is a magnificent cruise on the Ord River where you will pass beneath immense gorge walls, view peaceful river scenery and spot some of the region’s abundant wildlife. Enjoy the sunset as you arrive at Kununurra.

Visit the magical Hidden Valley National Park, known as the mini Bungle Bungles with unusual and colourful sandstone formations. You’re Invited: Visit the Hoochery Distillery for a tasting of the local rum – Western Australia’s oldest continuously operating still.

Follow the Cockburn Range to the acclaimed El Questro Wilderness Park, a million-acre park set in stunning outback Kimberley landscape. Enjoy a spectacular cruise through Chamberlain Gorge, a fresh waterhole bound by diverse flora and fauna set beneath towering 60m tall sheer walled cliffs. Continue through the stunning untamed Kimberley landscape to the unique Emma Gorge Resort.

Continue on to Halls Creek, the oasis of the Kimberley and once the hub of a gold rush in the late 1800’s. Visit a local Indigenous Gallery.

Continue to the Fitzroy River and cruise the exquisite Geikie Gorge with its unusual white banded walls. Keep your eye out for local wildlife including sawfish, stingrays, and freshwater crocodiles.

See the famous Boab Prison Tree enroute to the famous town of Broome surrounded by a pristine coastline. Broome was originally founded as a pearling port over a hundred years ago and now boasts a multicultural population lured here by the promise of finding their fortunes. The pearling industry remains a vibrant part of Broome, proudly producing the worlds finest.
You’re Invited: Meet Neville and discover a unique and personal history of Broome . A third generation pearl diver – he will share his stories of Broome both modern and old. Hear how the local plants and bushes were the indigenous pharmacy and a source of bush tucker.
Enjoy watching sunset on Cable Beach.

Today is at your leisure to explore the tropical town of Broome or Discover More of Broome with one of the enticing extra sightseeing activities on offer.
Learn about Broome and its pearls on a Broome Pearl Farm tour, take a city sight tour on a Harley-Davidson Trike or enjoy a relaxing camel ride along Cable Beach (must be pre-booked, own expense).
Optional flight - Take the opportunity to experience the Horizontal Falls on an exhilarating seaplane flight (At additional cost. Please book prior to departure. Please note this is subject to availability and may be impacted by neap tides).

Travel along the North West Coastal Highway to Exmouth part of the pristine Coral Coast. It is the gateway to Ningaloo Marine Park.

Start your day with a Ningaloo Reef coral viewing cruise before visiting the historic Vlamingh Head lighthouse for stunning views over Lighthouse Bay. This morning head to Kalbarri National Park, famous for its extraordinary river gorge scenery. Walk on the Sky Walk for spectacular views over Murchison River.

Visit the HMAS Sydney Memorial, a beautiful silver dome commemorating the Sydney disaster. Then make your way to Nambung National Park home of the fascinating Pinnacles. Made from limestone, these pillars provide an almost eerie landscape. Continue to Perth, a beautiful city located on the Swan River.
