In Rio, get to know how the locals party with a visit to the Sambadrome, the site of the famous Rio Carnival. Once a year the locals in Rio embark on a four day party filled with parades, costumes, music and dance. The Sambadrome is the centre of it all and the costumes are an integral part. We take you there and you'll try on carnival costumes like a local.
In Argentina's beautiful countryside we take you to a traditional ranch or "estancia" where you will learn about the "gauchos" or cowboys of Argentina who are integral to the culture. Argentina is predominantly a rural country whose people grew up on the land. The "gaucho" culture developed as an important part of Argentina's makeup and the best way to experience and learn about this is by staying on an estancia. No other tour will bring you as close to Argentinian culture.

1 Day Add-on: The Inca Trail
One of the most famous and spectacular treks, this trail follows the end of the Inca Trail through the Sun Gate and into Machu Picchu. This will replace a days touring and will visit Machu Picchu the morning before boarding the return train to the Sacred Valley and Cuzco.

4 Day / 3 Night Extension: Paracas, Ballestas Islands and Nazca Lines Extension Package
Take a scenic drive along the coastline to Ica. Walk through a vineyard accompanied by a sommelier, then enjoy a wine tasting and lunch with wine and pisco. Cruise the Ballestas Islands, a marine reserve sheltering thousands of migrating birds and colonies of seals. See El Candelabro (The Chandelier), a huge geoglyph on the mainland which was speculated to be a beacon to mariners.
